Our Story

The Australian Multicultural Community Organisation is a non-profit that promotes and supports multiculturalism in Australia. Individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds can benefit from a variety of services, including settlement help, language services, employment assistance, health and wellness support, and community participation activities.

In order to foster social inclusion, cultural diversity, and community harmony through collaboration with individuals, organisations, and government agencies, the organisation collaborates with individuals and organisations in order to achieve its goals by fostering social inclusion, cultural diversity, and community harmony.

AMCO's cooperation with International charities

Partnerships with key charities

AMCO supports the global efforts of leading organisations such as Oxfam, UNICEF, Red Cross, and World Vision. These collaborations could include cooperative fundraising initiatives, advocacy efforts, and community involvement activities.

Focus on social justice and human rights

AMCO is dedicated to assisting charities that promote social justice and human rights. AMCO aims to support these charities by raising awareness and finances to solve issues such as poverty, education, health, and disaster relief.

Community involvement

AMCO works with its own multicultural community as well as the larger community to promote the work of international charities. This could include holding events, workshops, and awareness-raising efforts to urge people to support charitable causes.

Advocacy

AMCO also participates in advocacy activities to support the work of international charities. Lobbying government agencies to offer financing and support for charitable activities, as well as campaigning for policy changes that promote social justice and human rights, may fall under this category.

Vision

Our vision is a world without poverty, discrimination, and injustice, where everyone is treated with dignity and has access to opportunities to thrive. We believe in inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment, and we work to build a better future for all.

Mission

Our mission at Australian Multicultural Community Organisation is to make a positive difference in the lives of people who are facing hardship, disadvantage, and injustice. We believe that everyone deserves to have access to the basic necessities of life, including food, shelter, healthcare, and education, and we work tirelessly to ensure that these needs are met.

Our focus is on empowering people to take control of their own lives and to realise their full potential, through access to education and training, counselling and support services, and advocacy and outreach programs.

We are committed to building a more compassionate and equitable society, and we believe that by working together, we can create lasting change that benefits everyone. At the heart of our mission is a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to social justice, and we are proud to serve our community in this way.
